Valdivia Chile is located on a river near the ocean. There
are several islands which can be explored by taking a
riverboat cruise.
You can visit 3 old Spanish forts located in strategic
places near the mouth of the river. You can get to two
of the forts by car or riverboat and one only by boat.
Valdivia also has a number of nice small beaches for you
to stroll on and enjoy the ocean.
